ABOUT THE ARTIST
Cindy Richard began quilting in 1995 in Israel. She has learned multiple techniques by attending workshops and exhibits. She particularly enjoys the impressionistic quality of quilt art achieved by using muted colors and varying tones, as well as the three-dimensional perspective created by placing fabrics at different angles. Because quilting is both a solitary and a gregarious craft, she continues the tradition of teaching adults and youth in Beit Shemesh, Israel, so they can gather and quilt together. Patterns and colors can be selected according to your taste.
