Description:
The standard Hebrew Orthodox Ketuba text has been written in this hand-finished print.The gold on the "Bet" and the golden arch over the flowering tree is carefully painted in by hand. The inspiration for this special piece comes from the beautiful poetry found in Song of Songs: Chapter 2 verses 2-3. On the right side is a representation of the verse: "Like the lily is among the thorns, So my wife is among young woman" On the left side is a representation of the verse" "LIke the apple is among the trees of the forest' So my beloved is among young men." A white dove of peace appears in the design, bringing with her the blessing for "Shalom Bait" -Peace in the Home. The flowering tree at the top is a positive affirmation of the couple's life together and future happiness. The Ketuba is a Giclee`print on museum-quality Fine Art paper using archival inks to ensure light-fastness and durability. Each print is numbered ,signed and dated by D'vora. A different text can be custom-made to replace the given text for an additional fee.
