Mezzuzah ScrollsWhen you hang up a mezzuzah in your home it is necessary to insert a kosher mezzuzah scrolls "klaf" inside of the mezzuzah. On that scroll the first paragraphs of the Shema Yisrael prayer are written. This prayer is written on parchment by a Jewish scribe or "sofer".The mezzuzah scrolls come in different scripts according to Ashkenazic or Sefardic tradition. Our certified "sofer" (scribe), Mordechai Ivgi, writes both versions and his scrolls are considered "mehudar" or of the finest penmanship. All of the scrolls offered are written on extra fine quality parchment. They do not use glazed or coated parchment. They are all 100% kosher. The sizes for klafim we offer are 8 cm (3"), 10 cm.(4"), and 12 cm.(5"). We have limited quantities of 8 cm mezzuzot available, as scrolls in this size categories are difficult to write.
