Mezuzahs

Mezuzahs are traditionally placed on the doorposts of a Jewish home. They consist of some kind of box or “beit mezzuzah” and inside is placed a prayer scroll hand-written by a Jewish scribe on parchment. The blessing that is written on the scroll is the “Shema” which is the prayer which declares the oneness of G-d.
In traditional Jewish homes mezzuzot are placed on all the doorposts of the home, therefore you can use creativity in buy all sorts of styles, sizes and colors when purchasing a mezzuza as a gift.
